Accessibility statement

Kalmtools is run by Outside of the Fox. We want the tools to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification or reduced-motion settings. Accessibility is part of what our studio does, so we hold our own tools to that standard too.

How accessible this site is

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we have built with that in mind from the start: semantic headings, labelled form fields, visible keyboard focus, colour contrast we have checked ourselves, and support for reduced-motion settings. We have not yet completed a full screen-reader pass across every tool, so some tools may not fully meet the standard.

Known issues

Some tools are visual by nature and are harder to use without a mouse or without sight. In particular:

• The signature maker's draw mode, the social image sizer's drag-to-frame, and the background remover rely on pointer input and do not yet have a full keyboard alternative.
• The colour picker and the colour contrast checker are easier to use with sight.

We are working to add keyboard and screen-reader alternatives where we can, and to describe clearly what each tool does.

Feedback

If you hit a barrier using any tool, please tell us at hello@outsideofthefox.co.uk and say which tool you were using and what happened. We will reply within 5 working days and fix what we can. Feedback like this genuinely helps, and we are grateful for it.
